  1. FSMV on display at AFAC26

    We've been busy promoting our wonderful organisation to people far and wide, from across Victoria to overseas. Many visitors stopped by our stand to have a chat and support the museum by buying from our shop.

  2. Open again for 2026

    The museum reopened for the year on Thursday 22 January, with our usual Thursday, Friday and Sunday hours.

  3. A challenge coin for our Ambassador

    Museum Ambassador David Mann AM was presented with a one-of-a-kind FSMV challenge coin at our April general meeting.

  4. Australia Day Honours

    Congratulations to the fire services members recognised with the Australian Fire Service Medal in the 2024 Australia Day Honours.

  5. Fifty years of the museum

    The museum celebrated its 50th anniversary with a commemorative coin and pin, both still available in the shop.

  1. Open day at the station Sample

    Vintage appliances out on Gisborne Street, with volunteers on hand to talk about each one. 10am to 4pm, normal admission.

  2. Members' general meeting Sample

    News from the committee and the restoration workshop, followed by afternoon tea. Members only.
